Takaharu Tezuka

[Professor, Tokyo City University / Architect]

Born 1964 in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from the Musashi Institute of Technology in 1987. Completed a masterʼs degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 1990. Worked at the Richard Rogers Partnership in London from 1990 to 1994. Co-founded Tezuka Architects with Yui Tezuka in 1994. Professor at the Tokyo City University since 2009. Awards include the Prize of the Architectural Institute of Japan for Design (Fuji Kindergarten), Japan Institute of Architects Prize (Fuji Kindergarten), Ministry of Economy, Gold Prize of the Trade and Industry Good Design Award (Soejima Hospital, Asahi Kindergarten), and Japan Institute of Architects Outstanding Building Award (SORA no MORI CLINIC).
